Washington DC – July 21, 2019 – Report By: Dr. June Knight
On Friday, July 19, 2019 I went to visit Ruth in the hospital. She is 97 years old! I heard about her when I moved to Washington DC about ten (10) months ago. In these parts she is very well-respected and loved. I prayed and asked the Lord to please let me interview her before she passed away. The Lord granted that prayer on Friday.
I met her at the Capitol Hill Prayer Partner’s Annual Celebration in May. When I leaned in to hug her I told her that one day I hoped to interview her. Here are the pictures of that day:
I heard how sick she is and was concerned that her time was very close to going home to be with Jesus. So, my friend Sharon and I went to the hospital in Fairfax, Virginia to pray for her. When we arrived we were surprised at how good she looked and how well she was able to talk.
When she found out that I did radio and television she asked me to interview her so she can talk to America. God granted my prayer!
Ruth prayed for the nation, shared life stories, talked to ministers, the President, etc. We had a lot of fun with her. She also prayed and thanked every person that walked in her room. She prayed blessings over them. The doctor came in and he bowed his head as she prayed blessings over him. What an amazing woman. Our Earth has been so blessed to have received the seeds from Ruth Mizell into God’s Great Garden!
